i went to disneyland and it wuznt all dat great like everyone says it is….. but is still cool, and universal wuz da best, if ur trip is for 2+ days i suggest u go to both, and just hang out in LA da rest of da time
well disneyland is in anaheim, and dere are hotels all aroudn disneyland like rite across da street (literally), so i suggest u get those hotels (not da radisson kuz its old and crappy)
for transportation, if u live in northern california u ken just drive down dere, its about 6 hr drive….

since you have already been to Disney world why not experience universal studios.Look up al the Hotels near or around universal studios for the best prices and then book your rooms on line it is always cheaper that way.

Your really not gong to find any deep discounts for Disneyland this time of year, your biggest way to save is with your motel. Try motels.com for something cheap, the motel 6 on W Disney way is pretty reasonable. for park tickets. since your undecieded what you might try is a two day hopper pass for Disneyland and a day at Universal. Find a cheap place to stay near Disneyland, go to Disneyland for a day, then next day Universal then another day at Disneyland. There are two parks at Disneyland so you will want at least two days there. If you have time you can always throw in Knotts. If you decied on both Disneyland and Universal you can go to Costco and get a city pass pretty cheap that will cover both and also Seaworld or San diego Zoo.

For hotels you should go to a AAA place and take some of their travel books for southern California; it also includes disneyland information. Well about the parks you should pick the one that is closest to the hotel you are staying at because I stayed at a hotel near disneyland and I just had to learn it the hard way, driving to Universal studios is like crazy it was a one hour drive and I stayed there until 10 and ate dinner til 11 and i got to the hotel at 12 man was i tired from walking all day so yah you should pick the one that is closest. but i would have to say that Disneyland is way better is because It has a total of 60 rides and universal only has around 14, And if you go to disneyland you could also visit disney’s california adventure, also if you choose disneyland make sure to get a 2 day hopper cause it will save you money! Good luck and have fun!!
