I have an annual pass to Disneyland and go often but I don’t stay in the hotels there. The Disney hotels are really nice and some let you right into the park (if you can afford it, go for it). There are a lot of hotels all around Disneyland, the further you are the cheaper they get. If you can go before the summer and during the weekdays, you can avoid a lot of crowds. Check with a local travel agent and see what they come up with, sometimes they can find a good package deal that will work. While you are out here, you can go to Knott’s Berry Farm (it’s about 4 miles away from Disneyland) and usually not too crowded and might be a good place for your whole family.
